2008 Scott Orlowski Bike/Walkathon

The first annual Scott J. Orlowski Bike/Walkathon held on July 20, 2008, at Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve in Darien, IL, raised nearly $7,000!!

Forty friends and family gathered at Waterfall Glen last July to honor Scott's memory and raise money for his charity.  Walkers, Bikers and runners enjoyed a pristine 9.5 mile limestone trail through woodlands, marsh and prairie with a waterfall along the way and plenty of wildlife.  It was a cool morning --perfect weather for being out on the trail!

The sun came out just in time to warm up our afternoon picnic.  We noshed on hot dogs, subs, watermelon and plenty of salads and desserts.  Volleyball, frisbee --a great way to spend a summer afternoon.  We'll have volleyball set up again this year and hope to see you out there!
